Of course, someone could've bought all the items, but I think the chances of this are pretty low. I left my room, and ~3 minutes later, there was nothing more than the "fixed" items, something that never happened in the 10 hours I've camped him. And a few minutes ago, his shop was "full" (except the core and the frame) when I checked.
A little bit later (no one got close to the npc in the meantime) the flare was gone, and the shop had the four fixed plus the bolts and the casing, no flare at all. There was a time that his shop only had the four "fixed" items (BS hammer, mining pick, common parchment and the ink), then one of the flares spawned. No more than 3 people got close to the npc, and when they were close to him I kept checking the shop each second, no one could've bought it. I've camped this npc today 10 (ten) hours, about 5 of them looking at the screen, checking his shop every 1 or 2 minutes, and I never saw the Khorium Power Core. And considering I haven’t seen the item on the AH in the last two weeks, I’ll skip this quest or take my chance with having it crafted. I may have found someone to craft the item however I never have luck with that sort of thing, normally they agree on a price and then once they take the mats they demand a much higher price. Now seeing as no one was around, I don’t see how that could happen. Then said someone must have bought it out from under me. The GM said a few things I already knew, like the item is on a spawn timer. Has anyone else experienced this or have an idea on how this could happen? I opened a ticket however it’s been three days and no response.
No one was around so I don’t see how they could have gotten to it. Not sure if this is a glitch or not, I didn’t think such items despawn. I checked my inventory incase some how I did purchase the power core, but no power core was in my inventory. Now if you buy out a spawn item from a store it will gray out, but I’ve never had one disappear unless I close the store window and open it back up. Clicked on Qiff and saw the power core, but it was grayed out, as if I had just purchased it but I didn’t. I had a feeling that someone knew the spawn times and would log in to buy them, and then log back off and I just happened to miss it and them every time.īut then something happened.
